This course prepares you as an ambulance paramedics when you graduate. Foundation studies in the anatomy and physiology of the human body and an introduction to health and disease concepts and statistical methods in health are followed by advanced units with an increasing emphasis on clinical skills through supervised practice with the Queensland Ambulance Service.
You complete placements in metro and regional areas of Queensland, or travel overseas and work on shift with paramedics in other services.
